The Power of Lifestyle Medicine

Lifestyle medicine is more than a series of habits, it’s a pathway to flourishing.

With a focus on six key pillars—healthy eating (mostly whole and plant-based foods), daily physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, positive relationships, and avoiding harmful substances, children gain the tools to navigate ADHD and succeed.

These lifestyle changes are evidence-based and improve attention, emotional regulation, and impulse control, helping children grow into their best selves, and supporting families.

Coaching Programs

Info Session:

During this complimentary intake session, Dr. Cohen will provide an overview of his private 6-month program and group coaching sessions. He will gather important health and behavioral information about your child and discuss areas where coaching could have a transformative impact on your family. This session serves as an introduction to how Dr. Cohen’s approach can support your family’s unique needs.

6-Month Private Coaching:

Dr. Cohen will provide a comprehensive overview of key areas to focus on for your family’s needs. He will meet with you twice a month for 90-minute sessions, offering personalized guidance and support. To complement the coaching, Dr. Cohen will recommend curated articles and books that align with the topics being covered. If desired, he can also assist with prescription medication management.

Group Sessions:

Join us for six weekly virtual group sessions, each 70 minutes long. Each cohort will consist of no more than 8 families, creating a tight-knit, supportive environment. Every week, we’ll explore a different ADHD-relevant lifestyle topic, with a focus on core themes like praise, consistency, predictability, and gratitude. Curated articles and book recommendations will also be provided to enhance each topic.

Dr. Cohen offers both group coaching for parents and children, as well as personalized one-on-one coaching for parents. He meets families where they are, providing tailored guidance and unwavering support throughout the journey.

With practical strategies and a compassionate approach, children gain confidence as they master academic and social skills they once thought were out of reach. Together, we celebrate the joy of progress and the pride that comes with each new achievement.
